I’ll be in LA from Nov 15 to the 18th and I’ll have a sweet new Fiat 124 to scoot around in. Who wants to meet up for a drive? No, it’s not an Abarth. I like the “plain” one better anyways.

I drove a 124 yesterday. Automatic and base model but I loved it nevertheless.

Are you coming to Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Shreveport, Munroe, Lafayette, or Lake Charles? Really, those are the only big cities in Louisiana (LA) you could fly into.

I like the idea of buying an 850 but no resto-modding for me. I like old cars with old engines.

I am the same way, although I do like the ocassional restomod when done well.

There are some things I do think are best upgraded though, like brakes on older cars if they aren’t that adequate...

I dunno. Lots of people say that but really, unless you’re tracking it, as long as you don’t have 4-whee; drum brakes you’ll be fine. That said, the 850 Spider comes stock with 4-wheel drum brakes lol

That being said, Borsuq assures me they are adequate for daily use!

They really are. I used to own a ‘69 Chrysler with 4-wheel drums and it was fine. Wouldn’t drive a mountain pass with it but for normal driving it was totally good.
